Subject: Restriction on import of Pulses.

Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry vide Notification dated 18" December, 2019 allowed import of Urad upto an annual quota of 04 lakh MT and the same will be allowed only to the Millers/Refiners as per procedure to be notified by Directorate General of Foreign Trade.

2. The Notifications comes into force with effect from 18™ December, 2019. Copy of the said Notifications is attached herewith for ready reference.

(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992), read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, the Central Government hereby notifies the Import Policy of items of Chapter 7 of the Indian Trade Classification (Harmonized System), 2017, Schedule-1 (Import Policy), as under —
