Date:28.03.2018 सावाजजनक सूचना / PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 51/2018 SUB: Requirement of “NOC” from CDSCO port Office for export consignments of Drugs, Medical Devices & Cosmetics –reg.

Attention of the Exporters, Custom Brokers and all concerned is invited to 

the Notice dated 21.03.2018 issued by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, New Delhi on the above subject (copy enclosed).

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, New Delhi had earlier removed the requirement of ‘No Objection Certificate’ with respect to shipping bills from the Port Offices of Central Drugs Standard Control Organization for the export consignments to USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and European Union. Now, the NOC for export consignments to any other countries shall not be insisted, if such shipping bills are filed by the manufacturer himself, having valid license under Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Rules.

Difficulty, if any may also be brought to the notice of Deputy / Assistant Commissioner in charge of Appraising Main (Export) through email / phones (email address: apmainexp@jawaharcustoms.gov.in, Phone No : 022- 27244959,). 4.
Action to be taken in terms of decisions taken in this Public Notice should be considered as standing order for the purpose of officers and staff.
