GOVERNMENT OF INDIA http://dgft.gov.in/exim/2000/cir/cir03/cir2703.htm[2/17/2017 12:23:50 PM] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE UDYOG BHAVAN, NEW DELHI- 110 011   POLICY CIRCULAR No. 27(RE-2003)/2002-2007 Dated: 16th   February,2004     To               All Licensing Authorities             All Commissioners of Customs,   Subject: Condition on import of textile and textile articles as per paragraph   11 of chapter 1A: General notes regarding import policy of ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2002-2007.               Attention is invited to Policy Circular No. 1 dated 17.04.2003 regarding import of textile and textile articles.  The following changes has been made in the Para 2 (2) of the said Policy Circular as under:   “ Import consignments of industrial product i.e. transmission belts/ pressure belts, lining material for manufacture of luggage goods which do not come into direct contact with the human body.”                    Other facts given in the above said Policy Circular may remain unchanged.             This issues with approval of Director General of Foreign Trade.      (Dr. Pratima  Dikshit) Jt.
