Directives for processing of application for MEIS claims under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20

Subject: Directives for processing of application for MEIS claims under Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20

In pursuance of the objective of improving ease of doing business, simplifying the procedures, cutting down delays and to increase the transparency in processing the applications for MEIS claims, the Director General of Foreign Trade, in exercise of the powers conferred under the Paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 amends the Annexure to the Public Notice 62 dated 16.02.2018 with immediate effect.

2: The Annexure to the Public Notice 62 dated 16.02.2018 will have only the following MEIS SL No. entries (Entries as per the Appendix 3B, Table 2 as notified vide Public Notice 61 dated 07.03.2017 and as amended from time to time).

3. Further, it is notified that for only the above MEIS Serial no. entries. the applications would be processed in manual mode as per the guidelines issued to the RAs in the Trade Notice 30 dated 11.09.2018,
