Subject: Amendment of Appendix — 2 X under Foreign Trade Policy, 2015 — 20.

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby amends the Appendix—2X under Foreign Trade Policy, 2015 — 20 enlisting the countries wherefrom import of Textiles and Textile Articles is exempted from testing of samples for presence of Azo Dyes as per General Notes 10(III) as incorporated vide Notification No.19 /2015-2020, dated 4"" September, 2015.

APPENDIX- 2 X

Testing of Textiles and Textile Articles for presence of Azo Dyes will not be required for imports originating from the following countries:

• |. | European Union (EU) Countries

• ll. Serbia

• Ill. Poland IV. Denmark

• V. China

• Vi. Australia

• Vil. Canada

• Vill. Japan; and

• IX. South Korea

2. Effect of this Public Notice:

Australia, Canada, Japan and South Korea have been added in the Appendix—2X under Foreign Trade Policy, 2015 - 20. In addition to countries already included herein, import of Textiles and Textile Articles from these countries is also exempted from testing of samples for presence of Azo Dyes.
