PUBLIC NOTICE No.1 60(RE-2003 2004-09 NEW DELHI THE 6™ MARCH, 2009

In exercise of powers conferred under Para 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Handbook ofProcedures (Vol.1) (RE-2008):

1. Paragraph 4.22.1 Stands replacedby the following provision-

Por the advance authorization (erstwhile licences), where raw sugar has been imported between 21.09.04 and 15.4.08, but the export obligation is yet to be fulfilled, the export obligationperiod stands aulomatically externied wxto 31.22.2009 without payment of composition jee. Apuinst these advance Authorisation / licences, no further FO. extension shalt be allowed beyorsd 37.22.2009 .”
