Sub: Working of All Groups and Docks in JNCH on 11.03.2017– reg.

Attention of all the Importers, Exporters, customs brokers and other stakeholders is invited to the fact that all the Assessing Groups and Docks working under NS- Gen, II & IV Commissionerate would be working on 11.03.2017 (Saturday) due to holiday on 13.03.2017 (Monday) on account of “ Holi”. This will not onlly help in facilitating the Trade/Industry in tune with the Government’s initiative of ‘Ease of doing Business’ but will also obviate the situation of cargo accumulation at Port’s/CFS’s. In this regard all the Importers, Exporters, customs brokers and other stakeholders involved in the processing and clearance of import/export cargo are informed to avail this facility for assessment and clearance of the cargo. This issues with the approval of the Commissioner of Customs, NS- IV.
