TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I SECTION) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE ……   PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 39 (RE 2008)/2004­09 NEW DELHI DATED THE 4TH JULY, 2008 In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004­09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures, 2004­09 Vol.I (RE 2008). The following shall be added at the end of paragraph 5.7.4: "Exports made against an EPCG licence/authorization, which have not been redeemed, shall not be added up for calculating the average export performance for the purpose of subsequent EPCG authorization." The above provision shall be applicable to all EPCG licences issued on or after 1.4.2007.
