TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION­I)    GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE    PUBLIC NOTICE  NO. 11    (RE­2006) /2004­2009 NEW DELHI, DATED THE  24    May, 2006   In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2004­2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Procedures, Vol. I :   1.         In Paragraph 5.7.2, words “paragraph 5.7.3” may be amended to read as “Paragraph 5.4(iv) of the Foreign Trade Policy”.     2.         Paragraph 5.7.5 is amended to read as under:   “Where  the  manufacturer  exporter  has  obtained  authorisations  for  manufacture  of  the  same  export  product  both  under  EPCG  or  any  of  the  Duty Exemption and Remission Schemes as given in Chapter 4 of the Foreign Trade Policy and physical exports or deemed exports for categories mentioned in paragraph 5.4(iv) of Foreign Trade Policy, made under these schemes shall also be counted towards the discharge of export obligation under EPCG Scheme.”          This issues in Public interest.      ( K.T. CHACKO ) Director General of Foreign Trade and Ex­Officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India     (Issued from F.No. 01/94/180/    /PN/AM07/PC­I)
