Amendment in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.I).

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART – I, SECTION­I),   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE     PUBLIC NOTICE  NO.19 /2004­2009 Dated : 26th October., 2004                In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004­2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the owing amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I):­  1.            Sub­para 8.6(i) shall be substituted as under:   “(i) An application in the form given in Appendix­ 12B along with the documents prescribed therein, shall be made by the supplier to the Regional Licensing Authority concerned.    The  recipient  may  also  claim  the  benefits  on  production  of  a  suitable  disclaimer  from  the  supplier  along  with  non­availment  of CENVAT credit certificate from the Jurisdictional Excise Authority in addition to the  prescribed documents”.       This issues in Public interest.
