TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION­1) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY   PUBLIC NOTICE No. 34 /2002­07 NEW DELHI: the 13th  September, 2002   In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002­07, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1):­   1)       The following is added as the end of para 2.5 pertaining to the “Filing of Application”:   However in case of manual applications , the applicant would furnish a soft copy ( on a 1.44” floppy disk) of the application in MS word format..   2)       Para 4.25 (i) pertaining to deemed exports is amended as under:   A copy of the invoice or a copy of ARE­3( in case of supplies to EOU/ EPZ/ SEZ) duly signed by the unit receiving the material and their jurisdictional excise authorities certifying the item of supply, quantity, value and date of supply.   3)       The following additions are made in Appendix 15 pertaining to “Agri Export Zone”   S.No Product State Districts covered 29 Apples Himachal Pradesh Shimla, Sirmaur, Kullu, Mandi, Chamba and Kinnaur 30 Basmati Rice Punjab Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur and Nawanshahar 31 Flowers Tamilnadu Nilgiri 32 Mangoes Andhra Pradesh Krishna     This issues in public interest.       (L. Mansingh) Director General of Foreign Trade       Bipin Menon Deputy Director General of Foreign Trade   (File No:  01/94/180/26/AM03/ PC IV)
