Amendment in Handbook of Procedure Vol.I

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION­1) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY   PUBLIC NOTICE No.  26   /2002­07 NEW DELHI: the  1st August, 2002     In  exercise  of  powers  conferred  under  paragraph  2.4  of  the  Export  and  Import  Policy,  2002­07,  the  Director  General  of  Foreign  Trade  hereby  makes  the following amendment in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1):­     1)             Attention is invited to Public Notice No 18/ 2002 dated 14.06.2002 wherein the EO extension was granted to  Advance Licence for Annual Requirement vide insertion of a new paragraph 4.27.1. It is hereby clarified that the date of expiry of the licence as mentioned in paragraph 4.27.1  would mean 18 months from the date of issue of the Advance Licence for Annual Requirement.     2)             The following sentence is added in the “Certificate of Chartered Accountant/ Cost and Works Accountant/ Company Secretary” at S.No (ix) of Appendix 17  pertaining  to  the  “Application  for  Grant  of  Export  House,  Trading  House,  Star  Trading  House,  Super  Star  Trading  House”  and  S.No  (viii)  of Appendix  17  A  pertaining  to  “Application  for  Grant  of  Export  House,  Trading  House,  Star  Trading  House,  Super  Star  Trading  House  for  Service Providers” as under:     I/ We verify that in case the status of Export House is being claimed under the reduced export performance criteria of Rs. 5 crores average FOB/ FOR in the preceding three licencing years, the exports have been made by * (a)Units in Small Scale Industry/ (b) Tiny Sector/ (c)Cottage Sector or (d)Units registered with KVICs or (e)KVIBs or (f)Units located in North Eastern States, (g) Sikkim and (h)J&K or Units exporting (i) handloom, (j) handicrafts, (k) hand knotted carpets, (l)silk carpets or (m)exporters holding golden status or  (n)exporters exporting to countries in Latin America and (o) CIS/ (p)sub Saharan Africa or (q)Units having ISO 9000 (series) status or (r)service exporters or (s) agri exporters (other than grains).   (* Strike out whichever are not applicable)   3)             The entry at S.No 10 of the List of IS/ ISO 9000 (Series) Certification Agency under Appendix 28 A pertaining to the “List of IS/ ISO 9000 (Series) Certification Agencies/ WHOGMP Certification Agencies/ HACCP Certification and other Certification Agencies” is amended as under: 10.           TUV India Pvt Ltd 241, Hindustan Kohinoor Industrial Complex, Opp MTNL Office, LBS Marg, Vikhroli (West), Mumbai 400 083
