SUB: Action Plan to reduce Litigations – reg.

Attention of all the Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers and the member of the Trade is invited to the Board’s Instructions of Member (L&J/T) vide F. No. 1080/09/DLA/MISC/15 dated 21.12.2015 on the above subject.

In view of the above the Department has filed an application for withdrawal of
04 cases from High Court and 162 cases from CESTAT, of which 03 cases from High Court and 162 cases from CESTAT have already been ordered as withdrawn. The detailed list of the above cases is available on JNCH website www.jawaharcustoms. Gov.in. The same is also enclosed herewith.

Difficulties, if any, may be brought to the notice of the concerned groups / sections.
