‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ Attention is invited to Paras 7.8, 7.9 and 7.10 of Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 1997‐2002, published under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notiice No.1/1997‐2002 dated 31.3.1997 and Handbook of Procedure, Vol.2, 1997‐2002 published under the Ministry of Commerce Public Notice No.2/1997‐2002 dated 31.3.1997. 2. In the statement of Standard Input‐Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedure, Vol.2, the norms covered by Sl.Nos.D1 to D30 under Fish & Fish Products shall be substituted by Annexure "A" to this Public Notice. When basic raw material i.e. Prawn/Shrimp, Fish etc. is imported against export items, import items (1) Prawn/Shrimp feed, 1(a) to 1(k) Prawn/Shrimp Feed ingredients, import items 2 ‐ Zeolite, 3 ‐ Probiotics and 4 ‐ Immunostimulants/Additives for Stress Managment are not permissible. 2. In all cases involving import of basic raw material, import of HDPE/PP Granules (Fibre Grade) for fishing net shall not be permissible. 3. In all cases involving import of basic raw material, the quantity of import item HDPE/PP tubs, basin, crates or storage bins or HDPE/PP Granules for tubs, basin, crates or storage bin shall be limited to 5 kgs instead of 10 kgs. 4. In case of items at Sl.Nos.D18 to D35 and D40 to D43, if the product is in IQF form and net weight is also in frozen form the input quaAtity shall be less by 9%.

Import of basic raw material will be allowed with prior import and actual user condition without the facilities of transferability and replenishment. On such import whether imported alone or in combination with other items must give a positive value addition as per Para 7.4(iii) of EXIM Policy.
