S.O. (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and Section 5 of Foreign Trade (Development

&Regulation) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby revises the Policy Condition 10.1 (III) under Chapter 87 of the ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule-1 (import Policy) with immediate effect as under:- Existing Policy condition [Revised Policy Condition III) Cars manufactured prior to Ist January, 1950(11) Cars classified as 'Vintage motor vehicles' unde are free for import by Actual Users. Policy(Explanation to sub-rule (1) of rule 81A of Chapte ondition (I) and (II) above shall not be applicablelll[A of Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 as| or these cars. Effect of the Notification: Classification of Vintage Motor Vehicles has been revised to align it with the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 as amended.
