Subject: Amendment in Export Policy of Cough Syrup.

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred bySection 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development &Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Paral.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, the Central Government hereby makesfollowing amendment in Chapter 30 of the Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy related to export of Cough Syrup w.e.f. 1° June, 2023:

2. Effect of this Notification:

The export of "Cough Syrup" under ITC (HS) Codes falling under the Heading 3004 shall be permitted subject to the export sample being tested and production of Certificate of Analysis (CoA) issued by any of the laboratories as mentioned in Para-1 above, with effect from 1 June 2023.
