As a trade facilitation measure, with objective of ease of doing business, a revised procedure, for obtaining “Rotation Number”, in respect of Out bound vessel is prescribed as under: i. Concerned shipping line, should mail, the application as a spreadsheet attachment for Rotation number in format prescribed at Annexure “A” to this facility notice to email ID rotn@jawaharcustoms.gov.in ii. Upon receipt of email, the concerned official will make necessary entry in the ICES System, and after generation of “Rotation Number”, the official will make entry in same application form in the “column” meant to be filled by Customs, and the form will be sent back to same email address with “Allotted Rotation Number” within one working hour from receipt of email. iii. The form should be preferably emailed from email id of shipping line Domain. For some technical reason the Mail cannot be originated from shipping line domain, the “scanned copy of application” duly signed by Authorised representative should also be attached in addition to application format. iv.
