Amendment in Export Policy of Alcohol based Hand Sanitizers

Subject: - Amendment in Export Policy of Alcohol based Hand Sanitizers.

S.0. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments to the Notification No. 04 dated 06.05.2020 related to the export policy of Alcohol based Hand Sanitizers, with immediate effect:

Effect of this Notification:<br>The Notification No. 04 dated 06.05.2020 is amended to the extent that only “Alcohol<br>based Hand Sanitisers” exported in containers with the Dispenser Pump, falling under<br>any ITCHS Code including the HS Codes mentioned above, are prohibited for export.<br>Alcohol based Hand Sanitisers exported in any other form/packaging are "free" for<br>exports, with immediate effect. :<br>----- End of picture text -----<br>

2. Effect of this Notification:

All other items falling under the above HS Codes are freely exportable.
