Subject: Amendment in import policy condition No.2 of Chapter 39 of ITC

(HS), 2017, Schedule — | (Import Policy). 5.0. (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with

paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from

time to time, the Central Government hereby amends Policy Condition No.2 of Chapter 39 of ITC (HS), 2017, Schedule — | (Import Policy) as under: Existing Policy Condition No.2 Revised Policy Condition No.2 The import PET bottle waste/scrap isjThe import of PET bottle waste/scrap/ PET| “Prohibited” as per OM No. 23-4/2009-fflakes made from used PET bottles etc is HSMD dated 30-08-2016. “Prohibited” as per OM No. 23-4/2009-HSMD) dated 30-08-2016 and O.M. No.23/66/2019- HSM dated 03/10/2019 of Ministry off Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Effect of the Notification: Import of PET flakes made from used PET bottles etc is "Prohibited".
