Export Policy of Fertilizers under Chapter 31 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items 2018

Subject: Export Policy of Fertilisers under Chapter 31 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items 2018

S.0.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992), as amended, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2015-2020, the Central Government hereby makes the amendments, with immediate effect, in Chapter 31 of ITC(HS) Classification - Schedule 2 (Export Policy):

2. The existing entries against Chapter 31 of ITC(HS) Classification - Schedule 2 (Export Policy) will be substituted as under (changes made are in bold letters).:

EXPORT LICENSING NOTE OF CHAPTER 31

NOTE 1

Manufacturers of SSP, DAP and NP / NPK who can freely export their own manufactures subject to the conditions above

No change in List A (List of SSP Manufacturers / Units), List B (List of DAP Manufacturers) and List C (List of NP / NPK Manufacturers)

NOTE: 2

The procedure to obtain prior permission/ NoC of the Department of Fertilizers for export of fertilizers, wherever laid down, has been prescribed vide Public Notice No. 69 /201520 dated 7" January, 2019.

3. Effect of this Notification:

Export Policy of Fertilizers have been revised and items under ‘Restricted’ category moved to ‘ Free’ category subject to prior permission / No Objection Certificate (NOC) to be obtained by the manufacturers /exporters from the Department of Fertilizers, and compliance of other laid down conditions. we
