Import policy of `Controlled Substances` under the NDPS Act, 1985

Subject: Import policy of ‘Controlled Substances’ under the NDPS Act, 1985.

S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with

paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to

time,the Central Government hereby amends the Import Policy Conditions of the following items with immediate effect, in Chapter 28 and 29 of ITC (HS), 2012 – Schedule – 1 (Import Policy), as under:

3. Effect of this notification: Import of above ‘Controlled Substances’ shall be permitted subject to ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ from Narcotics Commissioner of India, Gwalior.
