No.S/22-Gen-136/2015-16 AM(I) Date: 02.12.2015 Public Notice No.90/2015 Sub: Ease of doing Business – Proposal to introduce 24 x 7 Customs Examination and clearance Work facility at Import Docks (CFSs) for non RMS facilitated (Group assessed Bills of Entry) – invitation of suggestions / comments – Reg. Attention of all the importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers and other stake holders is invited to the Central Board of Excise and Customs Circular No.19/2014-Customs dated 31.12.2014, whereby 24 x 7 Customs clearance facility has been introduced in respect of specified imports & specified exports. It is now proposed to extend 24 x 7 Customs Clearance at JNCH to other categories of imports & exports on experimental basis as part of Ease of doing Business. In this regard all importers/Exporters and stake holders involved in the processing and clearance of imported/export cargo like Shipping Lines, Container Freight Stations, Customs Brokers and all other stake holders desirous of availing & utilizing this facility are invited to give their comments/suggestions/feed back, for effective implementation of the same, within 7 days of issue of this notice.
