NOTIFICATION NO. 18 (RE-2007)/2004-2009 NEW DELHI, DATED 30 JULY, 2007

        In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and regulation) Act, 1992(No.22 of 1992) read with

Paragraph 2.1 and Para 2.29 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the Notification No. 58(RE-2006)/2004-2009, dated 13th April, 2007.

        The quantity of River Sand specified in the said Notification shall stand substituted as follows:-

River Sand: 4,50,000 MTs

  1.     For the export of above quantity of River Sand, Chemicals and Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL) shall ensure
    

that the suppliers/extractors have obtained appropriate clearances and the mining of the said sand is not undertaken in the Coastal Regulation Zone Area, which is prohibited under the Coastal Regulation Zone Notification.

  1.     This issues in Public Interest.
