NOTIFICATION NO. 46 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 NEW DELHI DATED THE 28th JANUARY,2002

S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 and 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy,1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August,1998)” and as amended from time to time:-

2.     In continuation of Notification 44 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated the 24th December, 2001 allowing export of a total quantity
   

of 1 lakh (one lakh) MTs. of onion upto 31st January, 2002, it has been decided to extend the shipment period for export of above quantity of onions upto 31st March, 2002.

This issues in Public interest.
