NOTIFICATION No: 42 (RE-2001) 1997-2002 NEW DELHI: the 21st December, 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.3 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.03.2001), the Central Government hereby makes following amendments in the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.03.2001).

1. The following shall be added after sub-paragraph 10.2 (i)

10.2 (j) Supply of goods to nuclear power projects through competitive bidding as opposed to international competitive bidding.

(This para extends the deemed export benefits to supply of goods to nuclear power projects through competitive bidding as opposed to international competitive bidding)
