NOTIFICATION No. 29 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 NEW DELHI, the 11th September,2001

S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraphs 1.3 and 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002(incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31 August, 1998) and as amended from time to time :-

2.         In continuation of Notification No. 20 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated the 27th July, 2001, allowing export of 50,000 M.T. of onions upto 31st
   

August,2001, it has been decided to extend the shipment period for export of the unutilized balance quantity of onion out of the 50,000 M.T., released vide above Notification, upto 30th September,2001.
