The following shall be added after paragraph 14 of Chapter 1A (General notes regarding import policy) of ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002: "(15) Import of Whale shark (Rhincodon typus) and parts and products of this species shall be restricted." 3. Under schedule 2 table A the following clauses shall be inserted in the end: Code no. Item description Policy Nature of restriction 0016 Whale shark (Rhincodon typus) and parts and products of this species Restricted Export permitted against licence. This issues in Public Interest.
