Try out the HTML to PDF API TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRA ORDINARY PART-II, SECTION-3,SUB-SECTION-(ii) Government of India Ministry of Commerce Notification No. 18 (RE-00)/1997-2002 New Delhi, the 1st June May,2000 In exercise of powers conferred by Section – 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.3 of Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.03.2000), the Central Government hereby makes following amendment in the Export and Import Policy1997- 2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.03.2000):-

1. Paragraph 4.23 shall be amended to read as under : "Third party exports", as defined in Paragraph 3.54, shall be allowed under the Policy.
2. The following shall be added at the end of the Paragraph 7.4 (i)- However, DFRC shall not be issued in respect of SIONs which are subject to "actual user" condition in the Hand book of Procedures (Vol-II).
3. The following shall be added at the end of the Paragraph 9.29: The performance of EOU/EPZ/SEZ units will be monitored as per the guidelines given in Appendix- 16(E) of Handbook (Vol-1).

Try out the HTML to PDF API The committee will also see that the wastage/manufacturing loss on gold/silver/platinum jewellery and articles are within the overall percentage prescribed in paragraph 8.28 of Handbook (Vol.1). In case of higher wastage/manufacturing loss, the Committee should satisfy itself of the reasonableness of the same.
