Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items , 1997-2002 published on 31st March, 1997 (RE-98) as amended from time to time, namely –

After amendment, column 5 (Import under SIL/Public Notice) of the following will read as under:- 1 690790 00 Other Import permitted against Special Import Licence (SIL) provided C.I.F. value is US $ 25 per square metre and above. 2 690890 02 Ceramic mosaic tiles Import permitted against Special Import Licence (SIL) provided C.I.F. value is US $ 15 per square metre and above.
