  1. Attention of all the Shipping Lines, Members of the trade, CHAs and officers concerned is invited to Facility Notice No. 77/2010 dated 02.08.2010, regarding rectification of EGC ‘C’ and ‘L’ errors.

  2. Of late it has been noticed that the procedure envisaged for rectification of EGM errors in the Facility Notice No. 77/2010 dated 02.08.2010 is not being adhered to scrupulously. As a result a large number of EGM errors are pending rectification resulting in delay in clearance of Drawback claim.

  3. In order to liquidate the pendency of EGM errors, all the Shipping Line and other members of the trade concerned are required to comply with the Facility Notice scrupulously.

  4. It is therefore, brought to the notice of all concerned that they should direct their representative to contact the AC/DC/Supdt. EGM Co-ordination Unit with requisite documents like Mate Receipt to carry out the correction of all errors immediately. A special drive has been launched from 10.09.2015 to 30.09.2015 and any Exporter/CHA or Shipping Line representative can meet AC/EGM or Addl. Commissioner (EGM) in this regards. For correction of ‘Q’ type errors they should contact AC/DC (Docks) of concerned CFS. A list of Shipping Bills in Which the Drawback claims is held up due to errors is placed on the JNCH website a soft copy is being forwarded by email to BCHHA and CSLA.
