Attention is invited to Public No.75l2023 dated 31.08.2023 issued by Commissioner of Customs, NS-lI, \,herein detailed guidelines for allowing "Back To Town" ofthe Expon Cargo was issued.

Para 2(l)(B) and Para 2(ll )(B) of the Public Notice No. 7 512023 dated 31 .08.2023 mandates manual endorsement on the Shipping Bill by Superintendent in the port area in case ofBTT from Port to CPP to town and BTT ftom Port to CFS to town respectively. 3. ln order to avoid delays in the above process, manual endorsement by the Superintendent in the Port area is discontinued for the containers that have not been loaded onto the scheduled vessel. The verification of details in the shipping bill which are allowed BTT, henceforth, shall be undertaken by the Preventive Officers posted at the terminal gates at the time of BTT Containers gate out.
