Subject: Implementation of Universal E-Seal Reader - Verification of Container

E-Seal Status through ICES/CEGATE Integration -reg 6 Altention of all Exporters, Cuslons Brokers, Members of Trade, Shipping Lines, Custodians and all concerned is invited to the implementation of Universal E-Seal Reader and \entication of Container E-Seal Status through ICES/ICEGATE Integration. 2 The DG system has developed Universal E-Seal Reader APl integration with the partner agency at the Centralised Parking Plaza (CPP), JNPA. This API integration proviles an c-seal bascd validation/verification solution to all self-scaled Export contaners arriving at the CPP. Presently, there are 16 approved RFID tamper-proof one-time-bolt seal (commonly known as e-Seal) vendors catering to the requirement for self-sealing. Each vendor uses its own proprietary e-Seal Reader at the CPP for scanning the e-Seals affixed on the self sealed factory-stuffed containers. This results in a situation where the entry to the CPP requires handling a number of e-Seal Readers for reading the e-Seals affixed on the containers, This becomes a very tedious and time-consuming process due to requirement of muluple hand held readers at a single location resulting in delay in the process and incrcase in wait time for movement of export containers. 4. In order to streamline the scanning process, universal E-seal Reader capable of Scanning e-Seals issued by all empaneled e-Seal vendors is being introduced.

e for movement of export containers. 4. In order to streamline the scanning process, universal E-seal Reader capable of Scanning e-Seals issued by all empaneled e-Seal vendors is being introduced. 5 Accordingly, the universal RFID E-Scal Reader integrated with the ICEGATE has been installed as a pilot project at the CPP, JNPA. Sealing data received by ICEGATE at the ime of self-sealing from the empaneled e-Seal vendors which in turn is shared by ICEGATE with the CPP. The data so received from ICEGATE by the CPP is validated with the data read by the universal e-Seal reader at the CPP in-gate facilitating inward movement of the self-sealed containers. Further, data read by the CPP is shared with ICEG \TE for monitoring and subsequent verification. Iith the inauguration of Universal E-Seal Reader at the CPP on 07-08-2025, the said tem at entry gate of CPP is now fully integrated with ICEGATE, and container I/3277034/2025
