Case No.01 M/s   Geltec Pvt. Limited Mumbai

Subject:­  Request for EOP extension of advance licence No. 0310465184 dt. 14.3.2008 issued under PC­9 condition.

  The Committee decided to extend EOP against the aforesaid advance authorization for six months i.e. total 12 months from the date of first import for the purpose of regularization and closure subject to verification by RA of EO claimed to have been fulfilled by the firm within the valid EOP and also subject to payment of composition fee @ 6% of the duty saved amount for the balance inputs in proportion to export obligation beyond export obligation period.  RA is directed to examine the case in terms of Public Notice No.  23 dated 4.12.2009 and make necessary endorsements regarding value addition of minimum 15% or as stipulated in the authorization whichever is higher. The Committee also decided  that the condition of re­export/destruction of imported raw material as stipulated in Policy Circular 18 dt. 30.10.2007 be waived as the firm has stated to have already utilized the imported material fully by exporting the product manufactured from these.  However, the default in terms of duty saving proportionate to the default in export outside the prescribed EO period may be paid by the firm in accordance with the stipulated policy provisions.  RA to check and verify the aspect of raw material utilization and evaluate the duty­saving default and take necessary action as per the policy provisions.

Case No.02 M/s Eastman Auto & Power Limited Gurgaon

Subject:­  Request for EOP enhancement in EOP advance licence no. 0510219992 dt. 1.5.2008.

  The Committee considered the request and  decided to extend EOP against the aforesaid advance authorization for 6 months from the date of communication, subject to verification by RA of EO claimed to have been fulfilled by the firm within the valid EOP and also subject to payment of composition fee @ 6% of the duty saved amount for the balance inputs in proportion to exports beyond export obligation period.  RA is directed to examine the case in terms of Public Notice No.  23 dated 4.12.2009 and make necessary endorsements regarding value addition of minimum 15% or as stipulated in the authorization whichever is higher.  

Case No.03  M/s  Intas Pharmaceuticals Limited Ahmedabad

Subject:­  Request for EOP extension of advance licence No. 0810079759 dt. 5.5.2009.

  The Committee noted that in the instant case the firm obtained the approval of Norms Committee only on 12.3.2010. The Committee therefore decided to extend EOP against the aforesaid advance authorization for a period of 15 months from the date of first import i.e. upto 23.8.2010 for the purpose of regularization and closure subject to verification by RA of EO claimed to have been fulfilled by the firm within the valid EOP and also subject to payment of composition fee @ 6% of the duty saved amount for the balance inputs in proportion to export obligation beyond export  obligation  period.  RA  is  directed  to  examine  the  case  in  terms  of  Public  Notice  No.    23  dated  4.12.2009  and  make  necessary endorsements regarding value addition of minimum 15% or as stipulated in the authorization whichever is higher. The Committee also decided  that the condition of re­export/destruction of imported raw material as stipulated in Policy Circular 18 dt. 30.10.2007 be waived as the firm has stated to have already utilized the imported material fully by exporting the product manufactured from these.  However, the default in terms of duty saving proportionate to the default in export outside the prescribed EO period may be paid by the firm in accordance with the stipulated policy provisions.  RA to check and verify the aspect of raw material utilization and evaluate the duty­saving default and take necessary action as per the policy provisions.

Subject:­  Request for EOP extension of advance licence no.3110032991 dt. 7.3.2008.

  The Committee decided to grant extension for  6 months beyond the permitted 36 months for the purpose of regularization and closure, subject to verification by RA of EO claimed to have been fulfilled by the firm within the valid EOP and also subject to payment of composition fee @ 6% of the duty saved amount for the balance inputs in proportion to export obligation beyond export obligation period.  RA is directed to examine the case in terms of Public Notice No.  23 dated 4.12.2009 and make necessary endorsements regarding value addition of minimum 15% or as stipulated in the authorization whichever is higher.

Subject:­  Request for revalidation & EOP extension of advance licence No. 0310426392 dt. 11.4.2007

The committee considered the request of the firm and decided that in the first instance details regarding date of application of the firm  of the Norms Committee, reasons for seeking  amendment, date of approval of Norms Committee and exports of the amended product made by the applicant firm may be obtained to consider the case on merits.

Subject:­  Request for regularization of export made out of EOP against advance licence No. 0310488032 dt. 26.9.2008.

Case No.09  Reference from Lt. Coll AK Nagpal Dy. Dir Dental Services (Trg)

 F.No.  01/93/180/34/AM­09/PC2(B)

Subject:­  Relaxation by PRC from para 2.43.2 of HBP for permission for sale of 32 Bore sporting pistol No. F­69326W.

    The Committee agreed to grant ex­post facto approval regarding relaxation for permission for sale of .32 bore sporting pistol NO. F­69326W subject to the other usual conditions of the FTP in this regard.    

Case No.10  M/s Hatsun Agro Products Limited Chennai

 F.No.  01/91/180/162/AM­12/PC3 Subject:­  Request for release of VKGUY benefit on the basis of Order­In­Original No. 14829/2011 passed on 21.2.2011 by Commissioner of Customs/Exports}, Chennai and NOC issued by customs, Chennai..   The committee decided to defer the case for the next PRC.

Case No.11  M/s Ravin Cables Limited Pune

 F.No.  01/81/1162/769/AM09/DES­II(Pt) Subject:­  Review of norms in r/o two advance authorization No. 0310083250 dt. 4.5.2001 and 0310111242 dt. 22.11.2001 issued under para 4.7.5 of HBP.   The committee decided to defer the case for the next PRC.  

Case No.12  M/s Gitanjali Gems Limited Diminco (Japan)

 F.No.  01/94/180/GJ/AM­12/PC­4 Subject:­  Communication from G&J export promotion council regarding clearance of consignment re­imported after participation in overseas exhibition .   The Committee agreed  to grant ex­post fact approval   for re­import of G&S consignment within a time period of 125 days from the date of closing of the exhibition.
