Decision: The Committee considered the case as per Agenda. The Committee noted that the input output norms were fixed by NC in its meeting No. 20 held on 02.01.2019 vide case No. 6/2/87-ALC1/2016. Now, the firm has intimated that the firm has got the description of export item amended as “ Vam Veova Copolymer Emulsion Solid Content 55% +/- 1% Packed in 1200 HM HDPE Drum having Tare Wt. 8.50Kg each”. The Committee felt that the request of the firm is not clear. Therefore, it was decided to call for the representative of the firm for personal hearing to explain the case.

Later on, the firm requested for inclusion of two more import items i.e. Packing materialsPP Granules and Fuel (Furnace Oil) Consumable. NC-7 in its Meeting No. 42 held on 16.01.2014 decided to allow Import Item PP Granules as per Packing Policy. However, the Committee observed that General Note for Fuel given in HBV Vol.II specifically mention that Import of Fuel shall not be permitted under DFRC or under para 4.7 of HBP or against adhoc norms. Accordingly committee not allowed the Import Item Fuel (Furnace Oil) Consumable. 3. The case has been considered for allowing of import of Fuel (Furnace Oil) 3 times and rejected the request.
