Decision: The Committee considered the comments furnished by DIPP vide their letter No. 7/112/2013-TSW dated 22.04.2014, it was noted that the firm vide their letter dated 25.03.2014 furnished a copy of ‘No Objection Certificate’ issued by Ministry of Environment & Forest (MOEF) vide their letter dated 12.02.2014 which refers applicant’s letter dated 06.01.2014 is not clear regarding for which year the said NOC was issued.

  1.     Therefore, the Committee decided to request Ministry of Environment & Forest to clarify how much quantity of “Used

Rubber Tyre Scrap (Rubber Scrap)” and “Used Rubber Tube Scrap (Rubber Scrap)” are allowed to the firm during the year 2012 - 13 and 2013-14 under duty free advance authorization scheme. ILS Section may also be requested to furnish the details regarding how much quantity of “Used Rubber Tube Scrap (Rubber Scrap)” and “Used Rubber Tube Scrap (Rubber Scrap)” are permitted during the year 2012-13 and 2013-14 to the firm.
